There's no hard limit set by this tool, though very large numbers of large files may be limited by your device's available memory rather than anything on our end.
Can I merge password-protected PDFs?
Not currently — password-protected or encrypted PDFs need to be unlocked first before they can be merged with this tool.
Does merging reduce PDF quality?
No. Merging combines the original pages as-is; it doesn't recompress images or re-render content, so the quality of each page stays exactly as it was in the source file.
